Williamsburg with Grandma!

Lucas and I recently took a trip down to Williamsburg to spend some time with my mom. Our week was full of lots of laughs and some serious sillyness! It was exactly what we all needed.

We spent our first day in Colonial Williamsburg where we took advantage of the unusual warm weather and brought Lucas on a horse drawn carriage ride. He had such a blast! The following day we visited Virginia's largest indoor bounce house playground... which turned out to be very fun! I'm not sure who enjoyed it more, me or Lucas!

Later that night, Williamsburg was hit hard by a snow storm. My mom and I had intended on taking Lucas swimming at the indoor pool but the single digit weather and snowy roads changed that plan. We decided we weren't going to let a little (or a lot) of snow ruin our plans. So, we left on our swim suits, filled up the jacuzzi, turned on some music and had a mini pool party at our place! Lucas thought it was hysterical.

Here are some pictures from our trip!

Our horse drawn carriage!

Lucas loved the horses!

Sweet boy :)

Lucas was in charge of making our morning coffee with Grandma!

The best barber shop ever! #policecars #lollipops #cartoons #lifeisgood

Our pool party!

Our new favorite place! Bounce house heaven

Complete with a firetruck inflatable slide... Lucas' dream come true.

The slides were so fast this was the best picture I could get! But as you can see, Grandma had a blast as well!

The first pool party was so fun, we decided to have another the following day :)

Play hard, sleep harder.

  1. That was a very fun and funny trip! It sure shows you that with the right attitude even a bath tub can be hysterical entertainment with an imaginative 2 year old and a clever mom!
